- Marketing Strategy and Brand Management
- • Develop marketing strategies and tactical plans in alignment with global, regional and/or local direction.
- • Drive excellent ution of marketing activities and plan in collaboration with sales and medical affairs.
- • Conduct regular sales, market and competition monitoring and analysis to develop deep understanding on business dynamics, evolving competitive environment to support local strategy maximising brand potential
- • Perform relevant market research (qualitative and quantitative, primary and/or secondary) to support insight-building.
- • Determine and monitor agreed KPIs to ensure effectiveness of marketing initiatives and programs and track performance
- • Develop KEE and association partnerships in relevant therapeutic area.
- • Maximize market/patient access for our products through timely hospital listings.
- • Maintain and adhere to approved pricing and bonus schemes for company’s products.
- • Work closely with regional marketing team for alignment and support, including identifying best practices for local implementation.
- • Manage and monitor the implementation of promotion strategies and its effectiveness in meeting pre-set objectives for fiscal year within allocated budget
- Salesforce Effectiveness and Efficiency
- • Develop and implement promotional materials, visual aids and training tools to support sales activities.
- • Conduct regular product training/quizzes and role plays with sales team to support effective delivery of key messages and objection handling.
- • Support through regular field visits with sales team to ensure optimal use of visual aids and delivery of key messages.
- • Review profiling and targeting of customer list twice a year to ensure sales team is calling on the right customer at the right frequency.
- Operational Excellence
- • Effective management of vendors and promotional budget accurate sales forecast and timely submission of reports.
- • Ensure all discretionary expenditure is within budget or guidelines and is directed toward the achievement of company’s commercial objectives.
- • Ensure all marketing activities and programs comply with company policies and industry/ country regulations.
- • Other duties/assignments as directed from management from time to time
- • Conduct or make available scheduled product training to internal and external customers
- Leadership Responsibility
- • To lead Brand Teams by partnering with cross-functional team members including Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and other related functions & stakeholders to maximize the brand performance
- • Field coaching for sales team
- • To work closely with Sales Managers and sales force to develop effective marketing strategies
- Health, Safety and Environment
- • Take reasonable care of the health and safety of yourself and others, including team members.
- • Take responsibility as a Astellas leader in the provision of a healthy and safe workplace.
- • Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviours and immediately notify the Manager of any serious incidents complete an Incident / Injury Report and forward to Human Resources within 48 hours where necessary.
- • Undertake duties in accordance with the current Astellas safety policies and procedures.
- • Report non-conformance in accordance with the requirements of the Astellas quality.
